                    haha - yes, WON as in first over the finish. the longest individual distance keeps going until the end of the event. and, we can keep racing for bragging rights on the final total. ;-) not that anyone here is competitive.

                    I'd like to add to the "quick math" because I achieved only 1.7 miles for an hour of weightlifting. During that hour I tracked over 600 calories burned which if I biked for an hour, I'd track about 400 calories. If I ran for one hour, I typically go about 6 miles and would track about 800 calories. I feel an hour of weightlifting should get at least the same credit for an hour bike ride, if not more. Can we please correct this? I lift weights about 6 hours a week and feel that effort is at least that of what the effort is on the bike. I can bike for 3 straight hours but there's zero chance I'd be able to lift weights that long because the effort is that much more intense.

                    I agree with this. I did 2 hours of weighlifting yesterday with 3.8 miles and 2 hours of CrossFit this morning (called it Calisthenics) and got 6 miles. I am not looking to complain :) but I do agree both of those are low. I may end up calling my CrossFit running.
                    hey folks - there are things I can edit, and things I cannot... weight-lifting is a default activity in the platform, if you are an agressive weigh-lifter with high bpm & want to count it as aerobic exercise, that also works.

                    Morning Everyone Please make sure you resubmit Day 1 logs with updated workouts that were added(delete previous) - Cycling is per mile now - Walking is an option now per mile - Running/jogging is an option now per mile (x2 multiplier to keep up with cycling)

                    SO ... with some quick maths - we've got to level this thing in the other direction... giving more credit to the runners to keep up with the cyclists and giving our teams a shot of actually finishing.  RUNNERS: Be sure to choose the Running/jogging activity; I've got a request into racery to delete the 'running/walking' activity so that we can avoid confusion. If you loaded an activity already today - you can delete it with the gear icon and replace it to get the mileage credit as follows. Conversion will be: 1 mile = 1.0 walking 2.0 running/jogging 1.8 hiking 1.0 cycling 0.7 e-bike

                    It's from about 6 months before our first race. The changes are crazy though! I'm keeping the pic, reminds me to keep focused on my health and new lifestyle. Lately Donuts and Ice Cream have been to tempting :)

                    Yes - It seems it tries to scale biking down to be more in line with the effort for runners/walkers. Seems the run/walk is in miles. Good to know I can focus more on running now as I thought I would need to bike this month for this race. Good luck everyone and have fun!

                      4. If your race includes activity conversions, we try to keep the playing field level, and conversions are based on effort, cycling is 1=1, eBike 1=0.7; walking 1=1, Running 1=2, hiking 1=1.8

                      5. To delete a log, click its gear on the right.

                      6. Don’t like one type of email? Unsubscribe at the bottom of that email.

                      7. If you post on social media, please include #raceryapp so we can find you!

                      8. We rely on the honor system. You don't have to use a device to prove your miles, a good map or watch suffices.

                      9. Only log intentional exercise please.

                      10. Attribute your exercise to the appropriate day—don't combine workouts from multiple days.

                      11. Only backdate logs for a race up to 5 days in the past.

                      12. Activities submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards.
